Elfyn Evans secured Britain’s first World Rally Championship title in over 20 years, triumphing with Toyota in a thrilling season closer on Sardinia on Sunday.

However, he finally claimed victory after a decisive Powerstage battle with teammate Oliver Solberg, whose hopes were dashed when the Swedish driver crashed down a bank just two turns before the finish line while leading the race.
